Refund Policy
Effective date: June 1, 2026
The short version
We want you to only pay for something you find useful. The Explorer plan includes a free trial so you can evaluate IdeaFast risk-free, and you can cancel anytime to stop future charges. If something genuinely went wrong with a charge, email us — we're reasonable.
Subscriptions
Subscription plans (Explorer, Founder, Builder) are billed in advance for each billing period and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Free trial: if your plan includes a trial, cancel before it ends and you won't be charged.
- Cancelling: you can cancel anytime from the Billing page or your payment receipt. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- Started periods: once a billing period has begun, it is generally non-refundable (including the unused part of the period), except where required by law or where we agree to a goodwill refund below.
- Goodwill window: if you were charged for a renewal within the last 7 days and have barely used the service in that period, email us and we'll review a refund case by case.
Scan packs
Scan packs are one-time purchases that add a fixed number of scans to your balance.
- Unused packs are fully refundable within 7 days of purchase.
- Once any scan from a pack has been used, that pack is non-refundable — the work (AI calls, data retrieval) has already been performed and billed to us by third-party providers.
Billing errors & technical failures
If we charged you but you didn't receive what you paid for — e.g. a subscription that never activated or scans that never landed in your balance — we'll fix the grant or refund you in full, your choice. There's no time limit on genuine billing errors.
What's not eligible
- Billing periods that have already started (beyond the goodwill window above).
- Scan packs once any of their scans have been used.
- Accounts suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service.
- Chargeback abuse. Please contact us first before disputing a charge with your bank — we resolve almost every issue faster than a chargeback does.
How to request a refund
Email shubham@ideafast.pro from the address on your account with:
- The payment ID (shown on your billing page)
- The reason for the refund — short is fine
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed through DodoPayments, our merchant of record, and typically reach your card in 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer laws of your country. Where those laws give you stronger rights than this policy, those rights apply.
